Undersites ("we", "us", "our") is a sole-trader web design business, ABN 99 395 159 795, based in Sydney, NSW, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it — in plain English.

When you submit a quote request or contact form on this website, we may collect:

  • Your phone number (optional)
  • Your business name (optional)
  • Any project details you choose to share

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools. We do not collect any information automatically beyond what your browser sends to any website (such as your IP address, which is handled by your internet connection, not stored by us).

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or quote request
  • Follow up if we haven't heard back from you
  • Communicate with you throughout any project we work on together
  • Keep a record of our working relationship

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-party services

This website uses Google Fonts, which loads typefaces from Google's servers. When you visit a page, your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com, which may log your IP address. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Enquiries submitted via the quote form are sent to and stored in our email inbox (Gmail), which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

No other third-party services receive your personal data.

4. How long we keep your information

We retain your contact details and project information for up to one year after our last communication. If you become a paying client, we may retain records required for tax and accounting purposes for up to seven years, as required by Australian law.

During an active project, we are unable to delete information that is necessary to deliver the work. Once a project is complete, you may request deletion at any time.

5. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information (outside of an active project)

6. Security

Your information is stored in our email inbox, which is protected by Google's security infrastructure including two-factor authentication. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
